The Corner Café

Best coffee on the block — 2 Bramblewood Lane

Regulars sharing coffee around a table at the Corner Cafe

Where Bramblewood starts its day

Run by sisters Nia and Bea Lawson since 2015, the Corner Café roasts its beans two streets away and pours what regulars simply call “the best coffee on the block”. The all-day brunch menu leans local — eggs from Fern & Field’s farm supplier, sourdough from the market baker.

Upstairs, the long table is reserved every Tuesday morning for the society’s coffee catch-up: no agenda, no minutes, just neighbours. New arrivals get their first flat white free — mention the welcome pack.

Neighbours Say

“The Tuesday catch-up got me through my first winter here. Now I run the quiz night — that’s what this place does to you.”
